The Derry choir joined a number of Dublin schools including Our Lady of Lourdes NS, Gaelscoil Inse Chor, Mercy Secondary School, Goldenbridge and Inchicore NS to produce a wonderful evening of song and culture.
The Derry school delivered an impressive and interesting repertoire of “You Raise Me Up”, followed by “Were You There?” then culminating in the dramatic “Walls Come Tumblin’ Down” which received a tremendous ovation from the audience.
Choir mistress, Claire Doherty, was delighted with the opportunity to perform at such a special event and stated “the voice of the North West was beautifully presented and well received on the evening. Many thanks to our friend, Catherine Byrne, for this wonderful opportunity.”
