First place for St Malachy's High School in the Trustee Support Service Arts and Media Ethos competition

Students and staff from St Malachy’s High School, Castlewellan attended St Mary’s University Belfast on Tuesday 31st January to receive their prize for their entry for the Down and Connor Catholic School’s Trustee Support Service Arts and Media ‘Ethos’ Competition. The winning video was a compilation of the Catholic Schools’ framework and the school were awarded First Place and £1000.

The awards ceremony was perfectly timed as part of Catholic Schools’ Week 2017. They were delighted to receive the award from Bishop Noel Treanor who was also in attendance as well as representatives from St Marys University and the Down and Connor Catholic Schools’ Trustee Service.
