St Mary’s Primary School, Pomeroy has marked the opening of a new 3G pitch.
The new synthetic surface has replaced an old grass pitch at the school and now also has floodlighting and new perimeter fencing, thanks to a £136K grant from the Department for Communities through Sport NI and the Education Authority, with part funding of £26K provided by Mid Ulster District Council.
Deputy Chair of the Council, Councillor Mark Glasgow and Mrs Gillian McGrath Director of Education at CCMS attended the official opening.
