CCMS Nursery Schools and Nursery Units

A study into current provision within CCMS Nursery Schools and Nursery units 2018/2021’ is the most recent publication from CCMS.

In 2018, following a series of engagement events with school leaders, CCMS set up a working party to explore the current pre-school provision in the Catholic Maintained Sector and to listen to the views of the nursery leaders.  

The resulting paper identifies best practice in pre-school provision, reports on the experiences of the nursery principals and leaders and proposes recommendations to improve the learning experiences and outcomes for children.  

CCMS is grateful to all who took part in the working group and fully endorses the recommendations contained in the publication.
